UnfairRepresent 10/23/17 3:34:43 AM #1:	A teenager armed with an axe injured several people in a rampage in Switzerland on Sunday evening before being shot and arrested, police said, describing the incident as unrelated to terrorism. Police in the canton of St Gallen said the 17-year-old Latvian national carried out the attack on Postplatz near the post office in the northeast town of Flums. Several people were wounded in the initial attack before the assailant "fled with a stolen car and had an accident", police said in a statement. The attacker later injured several people inside a petrol station shop, where he was shot by police and apprehended. "At this stage, there is no evidence of a link to terrorism", added spokesman Krusi Hanspeter, noting that police were continuing to gather information about the assailant. They won't release a name because he is 17 He's a Latvian immigrant who lived locally. He's not a refugee. He came over in mid-2013 on an apprenticeship and was there legally. The police have not given a motive but they have said they do no believe it was terrorism and the attack + victims seem to be completely random. The current belief is that he is mentally ill and has some kind of personality disorder. The police were warned about him twice this year by his school who claimed he constantly talked about violence and had violent fantasies. The Swiss police and US police both shoot to kill and both aim for the chest. That's gun safety 101. Whether or not the perp dies is down to luck. Not police intention. Unless the body was riddled with bullets. The "Arm for the arm/leg to slow him down!" thing is a myth from hollywood. A shot to the leg can still kill you, it can also have virtually no effect at all and most importantly, gives you a HUGE likelihood of missing and hitting an innocent passerby. Gun safety 101, if you're shooting a human being, aim for the chest and shot to kill.
