Just finished washing it by hand and, out of complete curiousity, decided to dump some hydrogen peroxide inside.
All the little crevasses in the lid and the ridges on the cup foamed like CRAZY. Right after I scrubbed it all nice and good. Got me feeling gross as hell. Imagine how many germs I swallowed with my whey that way >_> --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

The fact that it foamed probably had nothing to do with the presence of germs and more to do with the fact that the little crevasses and ridges made good nucleation sites for bubbles to form. ...
