Footage of a mysterious insect has been making waves as the creepy creature is found across Asia and Australia

Social media users were terrified after witnessing the creature in action as the other-wordly insect is causing one person to say "I'd burn the house down if i saw this"..

Reverse image search suggests it's creatonotos gangis, which isn't shown having the odd protrusions from the tail. Those sort of fit the description of its larvae.
