ill O'Reilly placed a lot of blame on the media for his firing from Fox News in April, but now the former host is turning his ire at a new target: God.

"You know, am I mad at God? Yeah, I'm mad at him," O'Reilly said on his web series "No Spin News,". "I wish I had more protection. I wish this stuff didn't happen. I can't explain it to you. Yeah, I'm mad at him."

O'Reilly was ousted from Fox News after a series of sexual harassment allegations and settlements were uncovered by a New York Times investigation. The former "The O'Reilly Factor" host has claimed innocence, denying any accusations of sexual harassment.

On Oct. 21, the Times reported that O'Reilly had paid a Fox News legal analyst $32 million as part of a previously unreported settlement over sexual harassment allegations.

While being interviewed by the Times, O'Reilly again said that all allegations against him were false and that he only settled these cases to protect his children.

"It's politically and financially motivated and we can prove it with shocking information, but I'm not going to sit here in a courtroom for a year and a half and let my kids get beaten up every single day of their lives by a tabloid press that would sit there, and you know it," he said.

"This is horrible, it's horrible what I went through, horrible what my family went through," O'Reilly continued. "This is crap, and you know it."

During the Oct. 23 episode of "No Spin News," O'Reilly continued his denials, saying his enemies would "literally kill me" if they could

"If I die tomorrow and I get an opportunity, I'll say: 'Why'd you guys work me over like that? Didn't [you] know my children were going to be punished? And they're innocent,''" he said. "But then I think about people who have it much, much rougher than me. And you know, I'm a big mouth. I'm a target. They're not targets."

O'Reilly placed most of the blame on the Times, saying that the Oct. 21 story was intended to "kill him again."

"So they came back with another bunch of garbage. I talked to them this time just to see the devil that I was dealing with," he said. "And I truly believe that these people at The New York Times are out to hurt people with whom they disagree. They don't want me in the marketplace. That's what this is all about."

Honestly there is no way that Fox doesn't look bad in this IMO.

There are two possibilities:

1. Bill sexually harrased, bullied and humiliated women for years. Fox knew this, didn't give a single fuck about the women, kept them silent and empowered Bill to keep doing whatever he wanted with a huge platform and paycheck.

2. All these claims are false just made to harras Bill who did nothing wrong. Fox Knows this, but are throwing him under the bus anyway because people are mad. Stabbing a loyal hard worker in the back over lies and encouraging more people to lie in the future.

Either way Fox are a bunch of scummy bastards. They're pretty much acting like the moderators here.

You're sheltered if you don't think this happens literally all the time. In one of my old jobs there was a legal department's whose literal job was deciding whether or not the constant lawsuits they got every day were worth fighting or just settling, as it was usually more harmful to fight even if you were right.

The idea that people were lying is not an impossiblity simply because you dislike the guy they accused.

I'm not in the business of shoulds and should nots. Those hypotheticals are almost meaningless. I would only know how I might act, which isn't relevant.

Well nothing is relevant, neither of us matter to this case or ultimately to planet Earth itself.

If these claims are false and were just people trying to use Bill's platform as a public icon to nick a quick buck and Fox had no choice but to bow to them, how should Bill act today in your mind? How would you act in his shoes?

It's hard to say as we don't know the details of a lot of the cases.

The most egregious story we know of is that he allegedly masturbated on a phone while talking to a female employee and told her not to hang up until he finished.

He allegedly also sent women gay pornography and made sexual comments about their apperance and weight.

I think there was also claims about inappropriate touching as well.

Most of the claims were about verbal harrasment however.

Bill denies everything and Fox turned a blind eye until the news got out decades later
