Legalize it?

http://news.gallup.com/poll/221018/record-high-support-legalizing-marijuana.aspx

Trends are changing, even republicans are coming around to show record high support for ending the BS ban. How do you guys stand? Assuming it would be under the same restrictions of alcohol as in age limit, can't operate machinery high, etc.

Also, we need to get companies to back off. As in employees with a medical marijuana card and cancer getting fired for failing a drug test for weed.

I'm definitely for it. I feel there is no need to ban it when alcohol and cigarettes are directly responsible for far more deaths and are both perfectly legal.

Plus as far as I know it has been a nice boon to tax revenue in states where it is legal. I am curious to see what impact it might have on illegal trade as well.

Forget which state, but in one that legalized it they made so much money off taxes they had to pay people back according to a law on the books in like the 1920's that was never activated before. It was only like 8 bucks per person but still.
