Dunno if you ever got a replacement. Debating either one of those or an Altima as my step up from compact cars, but I don't personally know anyone that daily drives a later model Fusion.

How did you like it? Did it feel solid when driving, or kinda cheap? How was gas and maintenance(if any)?

Figure I'd ask here so I can also have CE chime in with any suggestions on cars too.

I managed to avoid getting it totaled after the second deer. I've enjoyed it so far but I've disliked dealing with Ford anytime I had to. Might just be the dealer though.

I went from a 2004 Grand Am to 2014 Fusion so it of course felt better, and I didn't really test too many other cars. I think it feels good, but sometimes in heavy rain or snow I feel like it wants to throw it's rear end out a bunch.

Also my right rear tire has worn quicker than the rest even after an alignment but not too much quicker than the rest of them. Just enough to be noticeable, and my younger brother who has a 2014 Fiesta also has the same thing starting for him so I wonder if it's a 2014 thing.

The stock rear rotors needed to be replaced at 30K miles, where I'm still using the stock front rotors 65K miles in. I was about 5K miles out of the warranty for faulty rotors. Oh well.

Uh... Low profile tires cost too much but man do they look better, so uh... keep that in mind.

I get about 26MPG but I didn't get an ecoboost engine. I got the older model of engine because the ecoboost was so new I didn't know if it was a good choice or not. >_>
