Gone out with a few dates with this chick on plenty of fish. She's somewhat fat and maybe below average looking but its the only chance I've got to reproduce with women. Anyways on the third date she asks me how much I make at my job and I obviously wasn't going to tell her the truth. So I understated that shit completely and told her $5K annually. Gold digging Hoe immediately got up and left me with the dinner tab.

I think I did a good job weeding out these kinds of women by understating my income. A person who can commit to long term with me wouldn't care about how much I made just as long as we had enough to survive together. Next time I'm going to wear peasant tunics to dinner.

I think the worst thing for a woman to see about a guy she just started dating is that the guy's mom is super-controlling and still trying to really be in her son's life. That's just dating Kryptonite. It doesn't matter how charming/attractive you are.

After that, yeah, you have the standard stuff about not making a lot of money or living with roommates/family. I don't know. I do think it can be tough for a woman to go into a serious relationship knowing that she's gonna be the primary breadwinner. But as long as you hold your weight with a job and can afford to take her out on her own, I think women are somewhat reasonable about this. At the same time, it has to be at least kind of appealing for the guy to be super ambitious and to already be on a good career path...even if they haven't climbed the corporate ladder as far as they potentially can yet.
