Huh. Actually a good question. I can't remember who first summoned him in DBZ and, when it happened, if Krillin would have been close enough to see the effect. I know Krillin wasn't there for the first or second summonings in DB which, iirc, were the only two in DB. As such, I'm going to have to guess Porunga because he was definitely there when that happened.

EDIT: Come to think of it, he *must* have seen Shenron because Shenron revived him the third time the balls were used in DB.

IIRC Wish 1: Panties Wish 2: Upa's Dad revived Wish 3: Piccolo's youth restored Wish 4: Krillin returned to life. Thinking about it I'd say Krillin saw Porunga first, he wasn't around for the first two wishes, Tamborine killed Krillin before Piccolo summoned him for the 3rd time, and on the 4th summon he was still dead so I don't think he actually saw him until later on in DBZ after Namek....But then again I may be mixing it up with Abridged, but doesn't Krillin make a comment about how Porunga is much bigger than Shenron when he first sees him?

No, he does say that. wish 4 is where it does get kinda blurry, he is dead, and we dont see him reacting to Shenron or even in a same frame (manga at least) the way the panels are laid out, Shenron is already gone before he fully gets up.

No, he was training with God.

At that point in the story he isnt on the lookout anymore, as this would be one day before Nappa and Vegeta get to earth. I think it was at the one month left point they left the look out and went to finish their training on their own. If you watch, the Z fighters come all separately, if coming from the lookout they would have come together.

Those were wishes made with the original Dragon Balls. Dende changes how the Earth balls work... granted, I don't recall Krillin dying a second time unless it was something in GT.

Those were wishes made with the original Dragon Balls. Dende changes how the Earth balls work... granted, I don't recall Krillin dying a second time unless it was something in GT.

dende specifically says that the limitations of the original earth balls are also included with the new ones, with all the previous wishes grandfathered into them.

all the new ones do is allow two wishes.

He died once in Dragon Ball when King Piccolo's spawn killed him, again in Z when Freeza made him explode, and once more when Super Buu turned him into candy.

His third death he was brought back by the Namekian Dragon Balls, with the Earth also.
