Like some kid insisting his deadbeat dad is actually an agent away on a secret mission" So we have a General of the United States Army slandering black congresswoman (the shucking and jiving line by Coates was great) and defending a racist civil war general...but he's totally not a white supremacist --- No one gets in the way of my frisbee games! It should not automatically be conflated with being good; even an enemy can be worthy of respect if they maintain a code of honor. Lee protected his state (or at least attempted to), even though he was offered a prime leadership position in the Northern military forces.
