Yes and no.
We would start to work together, but some conflicts are too old to forget that easily, so a couple of fights will break out. Nothing big enough to break the alliance, but we will be forced to create solutions like not placing specific groups near each others unless it is an emergency.
Afterwards... that depends on how long the war was. If it was too short, we will see a split because it exist no real threat out there.
