Yep, been smoking about 3 years now. Started at 27, 30 now. I smoke camel crush menthols. Do about 2/3rds of a pack a day on work days, about a third to a half a pack on my days off. I buy a carton every 2 weeks.

Tried them a few times at 16. Idk what they were. They had some vague fruity flavor to them, came in a red package that looked a little like those cone type fireworks and were brown. My friend always had them and we would smoke on his roof at night or in our trucks when we drove out and just parked somewhere to do nothing.

Then at 26 when I was at the end of my rope with my dad dying at home. No one to help me. Everyone criticizing me. He refused to go to the doctor. Staying awake 20-22 hours a day in a horrifying funk. I walked a couple of blocks to the gas station and grabbed a pack of basic ones in the hope that it would calm me. Idk. I wasn't thinking straight. All it did was give me a sore throat.

Second paragraph: your throat gets used to it, but I do menthols so it soothes on the way down so what do I know.

Yes, started a few months after I turned 19 (about ten years ago). When I first started I used to smoke more, but never a pack a day. Now I smoke maybe up to half a pack in a day, but that's on a "high" day. Normally it's between 6-8.

Literally everyone I know smokes, we all make a specific point to not smoke around non smokers. Not all of us are dickheads. Also, wasting money to cause harm to yourself? I spend roughly 5 bucks on a pack of cigs, that's how much you'd spend on junk fast food, which also harms you.

I smoked regularly for about 5-6 years, about 2 packs/week at my peak.

I quit smoking on the daily about 2 years ago or so. I will still smoke if I'm drunk and/or someone offers one to me, but I don't buy my own anymore except for like if I'm going camping or something as a luxury. Even then I buy loose tobacco so I have to roll them in order to smoke.
