Thinking of getting a new phone, and I'm pretty much down to the Note 8 or Pixel 2 XL.
How has the Note 8 treated its current owners? Would you recommend it? --- - The Admiral ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've demoed both, and I'd buy a Note 8 over the Pixel 2 XL for sure. But I really like the S pen.

Pixel 2 XL would be the better choice if the screen wasn't so crap.

pixel 2 xl looks like a real turd:
- blue tint screen that even google admits is crap - reports of burn in on the screen are rolling in - garbage build quality (https://youtu.be/BVKnt7H4zVc?t=6m32s) - bad audio recording quality, not that anyone cares though (https://tinyurl.com/ydch6bxk) - reports of bluetooth audio problems - no headphone jack just seems like a bad product all around tbh --- A Green Butter Alt http://i.imgur.com/LhwwG.gif ... It's hard to beat the Pixel's camera and software support

It's hard to beat the Pixel's camera and software support Too bad all cameras are amazing these days. Being the best isn't the biggest deal anymore, and Android has done a lot lately to improve software support for 3rd party devices. You can't beat the S pen, tbh. --- PSN ID - N1NJAREB0RN ... Coffeebeanz posted...It's hard to beat the Pixel's camera and software support The S Pen is kind of its own thing. It doesn't even have competition. If the S Pen is useful to you, it can't be replaced by a competitors phone. If it isn't, the Note 8 is just an overpriced S8+. I love the S pen though. --- Physician [Internal Medicine] ...
