The movement was just beneath the point of being solid. A little more polish to the controls and it would have been buttery.
T-Shirts functioning as shields was a great step up from the original game, and they were generously dispersed in the levels. The new glide, climb, and pounce abilities were fun but fell short due to the controls and level design. The level design showed promise with its mix of verticality and pounce chaining, but ultimately things felt disjointed. Going for 100% on a level feels more like a chore than a challenge. Plus, it's actually fun to pounce and glide over everything. Could have based the levels on this instead. The enemies were simple and predictable, but the hitboxes were shoddy. The bosses (especially the second one) showed a lot of cool uses of the controls and mechanics, but ultimately were drawn out and dull. The game itself was incredibly short.
