Okay, I have this friend, let's call him Bob. Bob is 36, lives at home with his mother, doesn't work, and leads a life of leisure. He's so leisurely, in fact, that all of teeth rotted away, because he wouldn't brush them. He had to go have the leftovers removed by a dentist.

He just sets and plays video games, watches Netflix, and reads manga. All day, er day. His mother has to ask him to go take a bath, because he doesn't want to do it on his own. He has a legitimate genius IQ, around 160, so he's not intellectually inept or anything. He simply just doesn't care.

I'm jealous because I gameshare with him. I buy all of the games that we play, and he just sets at home and plays them, and acts like it ain't no thing. Like he doesn't appreciate it at all. The reason I do this is pretty dumb. It's because of the companionship. i actually enjoy talking to him, and playing games with him, even though I put forth WAY more effort into the friendship than he does. I honestly think that if I severed ties with him, and set my playstation as my home system (I.E. eliminating gameshare) he would probably go "Meh". For whatever reason, this bothers me. The fact that he wouldn't care bothers me.

Am I just being a huge bitch, or what? I mean, it's typical to read this kind of thing when it comes to romantic relationships, but not friendships.

I mean, lol, right? I may as well say that I just want to senpai to notice me. The above couple paragraphs just feels like meme material.

I know this is irrational. I mean, I'm married, have a 3 year old, a car, our own house, a job, yada yada yada. Logically, he would be no loss.

This made me feel good cause it sounds like a super extreme version of me. I actually treat my friends respectfully, take showers daily, live on my own & go out and do shit once in awhile. But other than that Im the definition of a slacker. However I actually got medical conditions holding me back. Those led to a pain killer reliance to go out and do shit. But I usually have people agree with me at the end of discussions so I must not be dumb >_>. Im really into psychology but I never had schooling. Ive just always been curious in solving why people do what they do.
