If it's all in my head, I'm smarter than I thought I was. Singlehandedly creating hundreds of songs, movie/book concepts, learning about mathematics and physical applications for it, and generating an entire history for the observable world all within my mind.

Purpose is sort of a human invention to explain cause and effect. It's not really naturally occurring as a concept in itself.

I would say the very fact that we exist suggests there is a purpose to existence outside of our present comprehension. Thus this 'purpose' would probably still exist without us. It's probably close to impossible to speculate correctly what this purpose might be without more information on the nature of reality through scientific progress etc.
