Woooo, all looked good. Happy to see how much customization there is for the blades, and Poppi's unique customization is neat too.

I'm still hoping there's some kind of affinity chart for all the townspeople like in Xenoblade 1. I spent so much time "maxing" it out, just stalking every NPC until they gave me the right pieces of dialogue to change their affinities.

- lol at them showing the trailer with Japanese voices. I guess they finally cottoned on that the dubbed really sucked. I'm not sure if I'll download the Japanese audio. I usually prefer English voices, but the ones in the trailer were so bad I'm tempted to break tradition. Still, I hope I'll just end up getting used to them. (and hey, I'd lose out on memetic battle quotes).

- Having a four-stage combo mechanic is going to be interesting. It seems a bit too complicated to be useful, but then again Topple was way overpowered in Xenoblade 1, so if it's easy to do I wonder if that will be a problem too.

- I really hope they add some qol stuff for the Affinity charts and quests because that seems like it could get super annoying if it's too much trouble to do.

- Isn't that trading post system straight out of FF12?

- All this stuff they're showing at the end to promote the game; a Special Edition, Special Controller, DLC, Zelda tie-ins... It's kind of funny thinking about how this is a sequel to a game NoA didn't even want to release.

I liked the collectopedia but it wasn't a big deal to me. I feel like you had to keep the items in your inventory to get credit for them? which was a bad thing, but I could be remembering that incorrectly

You had to register each item individually, which was super annoying. Especially when you would use up one to register it and then later found out it was a super rare item that you needed five of to complete a quest.

I agree that it sucked that you had to use up the item to put it in the Collectapedia. I just liked filing it up. But it seems like XC2 does away with all the blue crystals scattered around everywhere.

the first game you changed outfits depending on what armor you were wearing

all of them weren't unique as there were a few that repeated

I usually just tried to keep everyone in their default looks so no big deal here

It was just that different armor changed your appearance. A lot of it was really funky looking, and had things like Sharla still having her boobs hanging out even when wearing the huge heavy armor.

Kind of weird how in vision flashback scenes it still has the same equipment that I stopped wearing after the vision first occured. Is it predicting I'll put them on again in the future?
