Yeah, maybe. I was more interested in higher difficulty levels or other bonus content, cause yeah I think the controls are pretty okay on the GC. I'll keep it in mind should I ever see it at a steal, but lower priority that, I think.

Every subsequent version after GC includes Separate Ways (which follows Ada's side of the story), new costumes, and the new weapon P.R.L. 412.

Let me explain the PRL 412 real quick.

Unlimited ammo charge laser. You can do a non fully charged shot and stun everything, or you can do a full charge shot which one hit KOs everything the laser hits....

That's the PS2 version of it.

Every other version slightly unleaded the laser....

In that it fires however many lasers to kill everything on screen and break every crate and barrel....

You didn't play Seperate Ways. You played her little short mini game to get the 5 vials Which is on GC and every other version. SW is pretty much a second game, where you have chapters and weapons you get.

I did a Red9-only run a few years back and was surprised how easy it was. Fully upgraded, that thing can maul through the game.

When I first played RE4, I got the Red9 and used it almost exclusively throughout the whole game. I pick off a few enemies with the semi-auto and the shield guys, a few special enemies, and large groups I used the shotgun/striker for, but otherwise Red9 can handle anything.

Separate Ways is really good too, it shows basically the entire game from the other side and sets up a lot of cool stuff (that Capcom never followed up on because they hate continuity).

KH is garbage, but it's intentional garbage.

RE is more of a pile of unfulfilled promises.

And some dudes thought it was cool to unload rocket launchers at me after some invisible weirdos tried to eat me. Then I invaded Ada's bedroom and tried to get the nookie but she went all MI on me and exploded her glasses in my face.

What size is your attach case?

(Small, medium, large.. etc)

I just got an XL one later on in 3-3 so I guess yinz were right. Just finished 3-4 and am on 4-1 now.

You CAN kill him but he has one of the highest health pools in the game.

The easiest way to kill him (gameplay spoilers if you don't care to know):

Freeze him with the liquid nitrogen canisters and then shoot him with the free one-shot rocket launcher you can pick up a couple chapters earlier. If I do pick up that launcher, I use it on that boss every single time.

After 25 shotgun shells and 100 tmp bullets into his frozen ass and running out of liquid nitrogen I was just like ok fuck this. I didn't think u could hurt him when not frozen anyways.

I mean it is def fun. I think it is a bit easier than I expected so far which seems dumb cuz I am always telling u how I have no ammo or shit. But I feel like if it wasn't my literal first time on a lot of shit that a lot of this is able to get past easily without using much bullets or health Regen. Like that last boss was basically a qte.

Yeah not many people kill him first time through. He's designed that way to be honest

Beaten the game like at least really more than 10 times and a few on hard, never once killed him.

New Run record is about 90 minutes flat

New Run+ record is 78 minutes

Pretty much every RE game can be beaten in 90 minutes or less

I'm pretty sure at least.

Trust me.... you WANT the exclusives. In fact for some of the weapons (Striker) the only real reason you would get it would be the Wxclusive.

Exclusives are def worth it for most weapons, though you're rocking a TMP and I don't even remember what the exclusive for that is.

I've also gone sub-2 hours, but that was full PRL/Handcannon cheese mode.

You definitely want to exclusive the Blacktail.

I'd say you should do TMP as well just cause you said you just beat Salazar with it.

Interesting weapon loadout! I'm certain I've never rocked that combo. Of those three, I'm not sure which exclusive would be best... maybe the Riot Gun's?

I pretty much go 100% accuracy or near it in most situations with the Red-9, even without the stock. Aiming in RE4 is not really that hard as long as you have a bit of space.

TMP exclusive increases attack power by +0.6, making it brutal. Just don't bother buying it until you have no ammo in the gun, so you can the most out of the exclusive, as all exclusive upgrades recover full ammo of weapons.
