Depends on how big of a deal breaker 30fps is. For me Doom is a game designed around 60fps minimum and 30fps kill the fluidity and flow.

You wouldnt get it on any console if youre looking for the purest experience.

Being able to whip it out and slay some demons on the go isnt too bad at all. The game can be played for short bursts without hindering the experience.

I played doom on Xbox one and found it to be kind of hard to play with a controller since it is a very fast paced game with lots of movement. I'd imagine it's even tougher on the switch, but I still think this is a game everyone should play on whatever platform they have. One of my favorite games this Gen

Takes a while to get used to 30fps and playing it without the 10 GB patch has really terrible visuals.

Patch the game, though, and it looks pretty great and the game play totally holds up.

Also an interesting side effect of the Switch using solid state media is that the load times are way, way better.
