That's literally the dumbest fucking thing ever.

For one, it is IMPOSSIBLE for your one, single pick to 'fuck over the entire team', unless someone else's pick is also fucking over the entire time.

ONE PERSON can never be responsible for the team's composition being bad. If this guy was Tborn, then any other player could've swapped out of that role into something else to fix the composition, but none of them would either.

Placing blame on a single player for a team malfunction is stupid.

So the Overwatch mods are literally just randomly taking sides based on their prejudice and bias.

Furthermore, there's this little thing called "MMR" that regulates bad or uncooperative players by putting them in a lower skill bracket.

If I got banned from playing an online only game just for not using the characters that other people wanted me to play, I'd be receiving a full refund immediately from Blizzard. Hopefully everyone that gets banned is smart enough to do the same.

The whole thing about banning people for 'not cooperating' is just bullshit.

If someone is playing the game and not griefing their teammates on purpose, then they're fulfilling the minimum obligation.

There shouldn't be an obligation to communicate with your team, just that you play the game. It's like Blizzard is trying to enforce that you must be a friendly and nice player or get banned.

having a specific main in every game, across every type of composition more or less always leading to a loss and subsequent reports by refusing to adjust play style(let's be honest... nobody is gonna report somebody if they end up winning), inevitably leads back to one common denominator.

let's not forget there are plenty of other modes where people can easily play 1000 games with the same character and never get a single report for not adjusting to team composition.

There isn't a balance of roles though. I gave up solo queuing because I was sick of getting my ass kicked because of bad team comp.

"Hey we have one healer and no tanks, let's pick Torb and Widow on attack."

Why do people hate hanzo so much?
Somebody picking hanzo last after there needs to be another healer or tank is annoying and should be banned, but in a good comp hanzo is okay.

Hate when people tell somebody to switch hanzo or widow when they picked first and other people could fill accordingly. They should be complaining at the other 2 or 3 dps player who decide not to fill. And no double snipers please.

That's why I think there should be a picking order based on SR or something. It'll give a better idea of the people picking what is needed and everyone can really tell who refuses to fill comp. People who normally wanna fill can skip their turns and healers can choose healer first if they want so nobody has to wonder who will heal if somebody already wants to.

The game is dying for sure. At least on consoles. On pc it's still fairly active, though much less native than it used to be. But on ps4/xb1 it can take up to 5 minutes or longer to find a match sometimes. I downloaded it again on ps4 after having it deleted and not playing it for a while. The norm, regardless of time of day, was around 5 minutes to find a match. After two days I deleted it again. On pc it's not that bad but pop numbers are still way down.
