I want Nintendo to make a full game of the 8-bit odyssey sections. I think it could be a blast as a stand alone expansion.
They can even do the thing from SMO where you go in and out of 3D as part of the levels. It could be a lot of fun as a platforming-puzzle type game a la Captain Toad. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't think they're particularly special. I enjoy them and everything, but I don't understand why people act like they're way better than other 2D Mario.
