You have people on one side that believe every single accusation on nothing more than someone claiming it happened.

On the other side, you have people that are literally saying "why didn't they speak up sooner? This sounds fishy. I bet they're making it up!"

I don't know what to make of it, because obviously a lot of repulsive things have gone down in Hollywood and hopefully the accusations put a stop to a lot of future incidents. On the other hand, you have to wonder how many people are going to go down in flames because of false accusations.

I'm of the opinion that we should wait until the facts come out before blaming either party involved.

Each case is different so you can always make a judgment call for yourself. When it comes to people being fired or whatever I don't think any of those stories are due to false accusations personally.

That makes it worse then. If people are only getting fired when people make public accusations and people are fired before evidence is found, then that suggests one of two things:
1) they already knew it was going on and they attempted to take the high ground by firing them
2) they're taking someone's word and firing someone before evidence is found

Both are unsettling tbh.

To be fair it could be that they didn't know and finally investigated it and talked to the people involved.

It's probably number 1 though.

Because coming forward would mean that they wouldn't have been able to make millions of dollars in the entertainment industry. It's easy to come forward with rape accusations AFTER you're a multi millionaire.

This, most of the people making the accusations are people who have job security already. It's harder to make accusations when you're an aspiring actor/actress in the industry because there's a big power difference.
