Maybe. For now the big issue is money. Id rather only have a kid if I was very financially secure. I actually think parenting itself would be quite cool.

In the future, I would like them.
But I wouldnt have children unless I was confident a could raise them in a stable safe and clean environment where they would receive a good education and strong support from both parents.

I was never interested in having any to begin with, but between the hell my step-bother's children were, and the ever growing resentment I have towards me own birth and upbringing, I've long decided that children would be a blight in my life, not a blessing.

Thankfully I'm not rich, attractive or interesting so I'm going to die a childless virgin. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Like another user has posted, I will have kids someday when money is less of an issue. As it stands, I can't think of anything more irresponsible than trying to raise a child on less than $50k a year, IDK how minimum wage parents do it.

I don't. I think I'm not mature enough to carry that responsibility. I'm not even mature enough to handle a relationship right now. All I can think about after getting off work is lie down, play games, internet, eat, sleep. I did have previous relationships, which probably made me realize how much I enjoy my me time.

I've been thinking about having children in the future. I'm not sure if I'll ever find a partner, but the thought being a father is something that makes me happy. If I don't produce any, I'm strongly considering adoption. Maybe both.

You just make it work and figure it out on the way. Fyi 50k a year is above the average household, let alone personal, income in the US. That kind of thinking would cause the birthrate to plummet and would ensure having a child is something only the "upper middle class" could enjoy.

Yeah I'd love to adopt a kid or two, possibly have one of my own as well. But at the same time I don't really think I should be a father to anyone. I can hardly take care of myself half the time let alone another life. And I really don't think anyone should have me shaping their life, personality, and future.

Yeah, I do want kids. I wasn't as secure in how I felt I'd be able to provide for one earlier in my life so, at some level, that caused me to turn down women earlier in my life.

Jk jk. I love my boys. I always wanted kids and now I have 3 and couldnt be happier about it.
I understand having kids isnt for everyone and Im not one of those people who tells everyone that you should have kids cuz its the greatest thing ever. But for me personally, it has been one of the greatest things ever.

That's fine with me, I'd rather be able to parent comfortably instead of having to "make it work" all the time. Sounds like a good way to be very stressed out all the time.
