Well?

For the record, I only played five Zelda games, and I would rank them as:

Zelda Games I've Played: From Least Favorite to Favorite
Wind Waker
Majora's Mask
Minish Cap
Ocarina of Time 3D

...

Phantom Hourglass

Which one of the games in the poll would I like the most? I must have these answers.

This is my signature, there are many others like it, but this one is mine.
If you take 110% of what I say seriously then you're gonna have a bad time.

ALttP is way better than MC, despite its age. I think you'd really like it if you enjoyed MC.

For the Zelda series, I've only played the first two games on the NES and A Link to the Past on the SNES. I liked A Link to the Past.

Sorry, I should have specified the order in which I ranked them. Bottom is my least-favorite, and top is my favorite.

I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse given where you have Ocarina

where you have Ocarina

It's been like five years since I've played it for the first time on the 3DS; I might have to play it again if you want me to re-order that list...

LttP is better than MC, but the elements that made you enjoy MC may not necessarily be present in LttP because MC was heavily on spacing out dungeons with little sidequests and story content whereas you don't have *as* much of it in LttP.

However, some of the conceptual mechanics -- such as changing things in an area to access a new area (shrinking/growing in MC vs light/dark world in LttP) -- are kinda similar.

Yes, aLttP was basically the first of the Zelda games to implement this idea in full, outside of your usual RPG or adventure fare with opening pathways (with bombs, hammers, etc.,). In aLttP it was more like, "Hey, do this thing at World A's location X, and see what happens to World B's location X." Or, "Use World B location Y to reach World A's location Y or Z, and then back again to World B's location Z."

Additionally, aLttP was before the traveling companions introduced by OoT, so... wait, where are you going? Hey, listen!
