damn I never had problems quitting it. even the times I didn't want to but had to for other reasons. I miss it. but its not worth the hassle anymore. it becomes legal here though, i'll likely go back.

part of why I quit. not so much them being shitty, but just not the type of people I want to deal with on the regular. the few I have met that i'd consider being friends with, didn't act like they wanted to so I didn't push it.

much to easier to just go to a store buy some booze and be done with it. at most have to deal some small talk with the cashier. not deal with the setting when and where to meet, making sure they aren't screwing you on the price by like having lots of stems and seeds etc.

other ways of doing it than smoking. now if you just don't like getting high, then thats fine. I had pot brownies once, didn't taste that great but it fucked me up.

so yeah if you get cancer and consider weed as a option just know you don't have to smoke it. think they even have a pill version.

Nah. Seen the Pyro TF2 video? Thats about what it does to me. My brain chemistry is different, as things turned out, and I get fucked up pretty badly by it. I was given a prescription for knee pain after nothing else did a lot (well, the prednisone worked, but it started damaging my kidneys - not permanently, thankfully) and I flushed the remaining portion when I came down. One and done... Apart from the occasional beer, Im basically straight edge.

Overlooking the fact that very few people in the US develop scurvy despite most people not eating oranges or drinking OJ on a regular basis, I'm not sure any credible medical professional prescribes marijuana as a preventative measure for cancer. As it is, it's not approved as a medical treatment at all in many places

Edibles are a LOT more potent than just smoking it because your body basically metabolizes it twice when it goes through your liver.
