Yes No View Results 83 y/o Nazi Cult Leader, Charles Manson is on his death bed in hospital as sources say "it's just a matter of time" He was rushed to bakersfield hospital 3 days ago for emergency treatment as he looks "ashen" and is covered in blankets who is not expected to last longer His health has been declining for months since last January when he was rushed to Mercy Hospital for severe intestinal bleeding and sigmoid lesion. But I've always been a little weirded out when groups of people celebrate the death of someone, even if that person is awful. Like all the people that gather for executions and cheer it on. It is weird. When Osama Bin Laden died, it was pretty weird to see people literally dancing and cheering in the streets, as if a sports team had just won a championship. Caution998 11/16/17 10:20:44 AM #39:	Bin Laden was responsible for the worst terrorist attack in United States history. Personally impacted innocent families and took away parents from their children. I remember that night. I was happy. Very happy. There's something to be said about closure, and while you'll never get 100% closure on anything, knowing that Bin Laden was killed - had to be at least a little comforting to everyone who was personally effected on 9/11. And as a person who was (like the rest of us) psychologically effected by that horrible day, it felt good. There are exceptions to celebrating death, and Charles Mansen...and Bin Laden qualify in my book. Celebrate all you want. Say what you will, but the murder of Bin Laden - really propelled Obama's second term into gear. Can't deny that fact. I can understand being happy or relieved, but it is pretty off putting to see people treating death so casually, even if it was a horrible person. Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I think being relieved about the death of a monstrous human is fair. But celebrating? It's off-putting, as you described. I also feel the same about torture of horrible people. I got into a very hateful debate with a few CEmen several months ago because I didn't agree that putting violent felons into a burning bull (torture method) was a humane punishment for their crimes. Some of the people in that debate even sent me hate-PMs. Indeed. I can be glad that a dangerous monster is removed/deleted. But if you're enjoying his suffering, you're a sadist, and there's something wrong with you. --- There is no "would of", "should of" or "could of".
