Still too early to call it on the XB1... everything Ive heard about the XB1X is that its a great console and its selling like hot cakes. Microsoft may just regain some footing, yet.

But yeah, the Vita definitely never lived up to expectations.

several years later and nintendo does what sony promised with the vita but better...while the vita has been pulled from most retail stores or had it's shelf space reduced to a pathetic amount

The X runs every multiplat game better than it's direct competitor and seeing as how 3rd party games outsell exclusive titles hand over fist I would say Microsoft has put themself in a good place.
