Current Events > Question about cheese spread and room temperature.

Mother got Hickory Farms while out today, I didn't look at it until just now, 8 hours later, to see that she also got cheese spread. It's been on the table in the bag (unopened, of course) the entire time. Tried Googling around and found different answers, or answers that are for hard cheeses.

Question to you, it's good, right? Shit's expensive. Aren't they left out all day on the cart, anyway?

It's good, yes. Mostly only needs refrigeration once opened.

Only raw meat tends to truly be an issue if not refrigerated for a period of time. Most other things will be fine.

Believe it or not, most food is good well passed the "best by" date. I know a lot of this from watching a documentary about food waste lol.
