Ezio will always be one of the best but something about Bayek seemed more real. Ezio at times seemed to bounce back from tragedy to quickly and Connor never actually did so it was very refreshing to see something human. It will affect and change you but it doesn't have to define you.

They really made Bayek into a very likeable character. I was generally pretty saddened with how Aya and Bayek developed near the end. Like, it was tragic but logical.

My one hope is that their mummies are in the same tomb and Egyptians buried people with their lovers. The game never explained how their mummies got there so I don't think their story is done yet. But at the same time, Aya's mummy was found down a hole a little bit away from Bayek's. I don't know what that means but I hope they reconcile I fucking loved how much love was in their relationship.

I really hope it isn't over. I wanna know more about them as well. Way more interesting than all AC protagonists to date imo.
