I'll miss him, when my parents became Hendricks Motor fans because mom was a Kasey fan (RIP) due to him being from WA and my dad being a Jimmie fan for the Lowes, I looked to the team and saw big names in Gordon and Earnhardt. I picked Jr as my favorite because of 88 and the legacy. Got tired of Nascar and thus stopped watching, but it still was sad to hear of him retiring. Too bad he retires doing nothing. All about another Jr today.

He will be missed. So many big name nascar drivers retiring over the last 3 years.

Also congrats Truex! He killed it this year.

I am also bumed that Helio is getting called to sport cars and losing his full time ride. Sure he will be at the 500 but its just not the same

It was cool that Truex who got in through Jr. Won on giant last race.

My first race ever attended was Truex's first Talledega win in the Nationwide series in the midst of his Back to Back Title years.

I was front row and he actually did the burnout literally right in front of us, I was like 8 feet from the car. I still have pictures of it. That moment was amazing.

He's been my number 2 guy since, because you remember things like that from your childhood and they stick with you...

So congrats to him as well.... 8 wins numberous legs won, and the Title.
