Well he did get infected with Las Plagas, in the finished game. He just removed it before it hatched. But I have no idea in RE canon if there is any buffs from Las Plagas parasites before they hatch or not.

Exactly. That's why the Batman analogy came to mind. Leon is on par with people with super human abilities like Batman is in the JLA.

Though I don't feel it's distractingly bad in the games or movies except maybe the scene in RE6 fighting that giant "dino" bow with Ada and Helena. That was some super human shit if I remember right.

Chris has no buffs either. He's just normal guy who has spend some time in gym. Seems to be at least as good as Leon on H2H too.

Rebecca was always supposed to be the damsel in distress ever since the original.

It wasn't until Zero where they tried to make her a capable STARS member, and the reason she seems capable in REmake is because Zero was in development since the N64 days.

I want to say it was Degeneration the one that had the T-virus outbreak take place in the airport. But tbh I only watched Damnation once. It was the one taking place in the fictional Russian country that was in the midst of civil war, and I don't remember much about it.

but they didnt put jill in because "she just had revelations"
ignoring the fact that chris was a major character in revelations and was in RE5

and leon is the star of their movies
