Burning Man is the biggest temporary city in the world.

1 week out of the year, people that have been invested started Burning Man pay the State of Nevada to open a town in the desert.

This town grew to over 70,000 people last year. For just one week.

Burning man is a art festival. A festival for spiritual awaking. A festival for meeting new friends.

It costs $450 to rent a space in the camping grounds. You have to prepay ahead of the event.

From where I live, it takes about 15 hours to drive to that part of Nevada. Once you are there, you find where to camp, unload your stuff and check things out.

There is absolutely NO CASH EXCHANGED at any venue. Everything here is free. The alcahol. The food. The sex tents. The music venues.

OMG the music, everything is electro. Black lights light up the night.

But this is BURNING MAN.

It wouldn't be BURNING MAN without FIRE.

LOTS of pyro goes into this festival.

At the end, they light up a 50 foot wooden artifact, known as the BURNING MAN.

He is then lit on fire for the whole world to enjoy.

This event is so big it can be seen from space.

I loved both times I went and if anyone else wanted to go, you'd enjoy it too.

There are reddit forums for Burning man. If anyone is in your state, offer to help pay for the event cost if they picked you up and brought you along.

So do it for a week then go back home! There is a difference in landscape that makes the night sky just amazing. I highly recommend giving it a go one year!

There ARE sex tents. You have to enter with a couple. No solo hanging around. You can meet anyone though and go into the tents, and yes, these are orgy events or quiet, subtle events.

You can find them in the camping areas. Some camping areas are purely 21+. These involve drinking alcahol and the sensual tents.

I should add that unless you have access to a high end RV, you won't be doing much showering. So the sex tents are only GOOD like, the first 48 hours. After that, people tend to smell kind of ripe.

Oh and everyone is covered in dust and sweat, but not too much sweat, cuz it's the desert. You'll sweat it all out, but you won't feel it.
