Capcom kept their promise after all (Arcade Edition is a free update), new costumes and not just recolors, a decent story mode, and with Arcade mode this game officially has more or the same amount of modes as Tekken 7

Sigh, the FGC is a sorry state overall if these are good things for the average person.

90% of the stuff you named off wasn't in SFV at launch.

Crapcom still delivering games 2 years before they are ready.

I mean don't get me wrong, it was still released a year too early

But right now the amount of updates plus the cheap entry cost means I feel it's a better recommendation than other fighters right now

Word. If this were a dialogue-heavy rug, then sure, I'd want a dub. But as long as menus are in a language I can read, that's all the localization I need in a fighting game. And sometimes, I prefer the Japanese. Dreamcast fighters usually never had dubs and they were great, in my opinion. Power Stone, Soul Calibur.

When it comes to fighters, finish the game, localize menus and some of the artwork then put it in my hand, I say.

Y'all haven't played BlazBlue CF then

Literally 10+ hours of story and they expect me to read it all

Least Guilty Gear had a precedent of sorts
