I think it's kind of unfair how I worked my ass off in high school and still make less than $50,000 a year. Nothing from before I was 18 mattered or is currently appreciated. My high SAT scores? All the school plays I starred in? Any work experience I had? All that counts for nothing, and none of it will help you land a white-collar job or any high-paying position.

I was thinking about this while browsing LinkedIn; virtually nobody includes any information from before they were 18 years old because all that stuff is completely useless. You can put no effort until after you graduate from high school, then go to a community college, transfer to a four-year university, and be making more than money. Bullshit.

It shouldn't be on people's resumes because a lot of it depends on where you were born and what circumstances you were born into. It's not just about fairness, it's also kind of meaningless when it comes to how well you will perform on your own that you did all these extracurriculars back then.
