I platinum'd both and I'd say Mirror's Edge is an 8/10 while Catalyst is like a 7/10

Oh and I got Catalyst on release so $5 is an ABSOLUTE steal for it

I think I'm about 2/3 through the witcher. As someone who hated 1 and 2, 3 has been an absolute joy and i got far more than $20 of enjoyment out of it thus far. The ps4 version has been mostly fine for me. Some odd glitches where sound was cutting in and out from some characters, a couple frame rate issues, and a dumb horse, but all in all very worth 20 bucks.

However, he doesn't take fall damage, so convincing him to jump off of mountains has been a great way to quickly get to the bottom.

I believe the opposite, the original Mirror's Edge was pretty great for the concept but the story was very tossaway, the combat was not good, and unless you knew the speedrun routes, the flow of the movement got interrupted so many times because of the combat and some poor level design choices.

Catalyst has a relatively good story, some really incredible visuals that really improve on the already great style of the first, the combat has been improved (although still not perfect), and the movement usually stays pretty fluid. I honestly think Catalyst was a 9/10 game, certainly one of my favorites from recent memory. On the other hand, I think the original is probably around a 6.5 to 7 with some really awesome features and then some horribly disappointing pieces.

ACTUALLY if you look through stuff outside the game and the little quests and notes Catalyst does start to build an actual world with a story! It's just not really in the main game, they hide it behind shit.

For the deals without a PS+ price, I'd advise waiting until the store's done updating since usually either everything or nothing has a different PS+ price in a sale.

Witcher 3 was my first WRPG and it's pretty great aside from some minor glitches. I don't really like the inventory weight mechanic either since it's so much faster to Loot All an enemy than pick what you do or don't want. Tons of times I ended up carrying more than the weight limit which makes you super slow. I think a level indicator on the map might've been nice too. You can easily defeat enemies in one spot, but then another spot on the map like 50 feet away can have enemies that are so strong they one-shot you. For the most part it's pretty damn great though.

I only have a 760 graphics card currently so I guess in order to get good performance out of any of them I'd need to upgrade though.
