The ones before it are too sloppy and unrefined. The ones that come after are mainly just retreads of ALttP which don't quite do enough to stand out, culminating in ALBW which was like a cross between a reboot and remake of ALttP. Of the ones that are more original, MC is just forgettable, and the DS games are annoying.
I find it funny how much people complained about 3D Zelda getting stale (before BotW) yet at the same time a ton of people praised ALBW. That game was such a huge disappointment. I hope that 2D Zelda will continue, but only if they hit reset and do something new that's not gimmicky. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I can respectfully disagree - it is very good, I wouldn't say it's the best --- 2nd best easily.

Me neither, I was exaggerating. But I still don't think they're better than ALttP. Fair or not, the GB(C) games are definitely hindered by the limited graphics and especially the limited buttons. It's cool to have a console game experience on a handheld, but that type of experience will always have more potential on a console. The GB(C) Zeldas are high on my list of wanted Zelda remakes for these reasons.
