Ben Shapiro is a good debater, that doesn't necessarily means his arguments are good though. He knows how to present himself in a mature fashion and knows how to turn a discussion to his favor. Out of most of the conservative speakers, he's probably the best one.

You can be a good debater and still not win over your opposition.

The guy does his extensive research and is always prepared.

He never gets rattled and he never trips over his own words.

He also is pretty civil during debates. He doesn't shout over or drown out the opposite speaker when it's their turn. I've seen many people do it to him though.

Wow, since this seems to be the most important part of my posts I guess let's go into this.

I stated quite clearly that while he's not marching with Richard Spencer his ideology is almost word for word what the alt-right believe. He worked for Breitbart and while I absolutely respect his falling out with them it doesn't change the fact they still parrot the same points on the majority of issues.

I couldn't give two shits if people are that obsessed with semantics that you need to literally be in the streets to be alt-right now. If you are preaching the alt-rights ideology regardless of who came up with the ideology first I'm going to term you alt-right for convenience. Not like I called Ben a neo-Nazi FFS.

How about any one of you provide reasons hes not apart of the alt-right movement aside from "he doesn't march in the streets".

Yeah, this. Shapiro explicitly states all the time how he is NOT a friend of the alt-right. I am 99% sure the alt-right wouldn't accept him even if he tried to claim allegiance with them.

If you need proof, go thru the backlog of 'Daily Wire' podcasts/Ben Shapiro Shows he has done and uploaded on YouTube. If you think he's alt-right then you're just showing how you haven't really listened to the guy.

Calling Shapiro a great debater literally has no correlation to saying that you agree with even one of his viewpoints - that's beside the point since debating is an actual skill.

If you want to dissect his viewpoints and why he thinks the way he does, that's a separate discussion. I will point out that a lot of his worldviews center around how he's a practicing Orthodox Jew. He is sincerely religious - a fact he'll often point out and about how it separates him from most of the Jewish community in America...which is ordinarily atheist.
