18 y/o Hag, Lestina Marie Smith from Michigan who raped an unnamed young man who was also her BOYFRIEND at KNIFEPOINT and was given 5 years probation and 25 years on the sex offender registry!!

Judge Andre R. Borrello handed down th e sentence after she plead no contest to one count of second degree criminal sexual conduct, a 15 year felony.

She could have faced life in prison for what she was charge with but took a plea deal instead and she will undergo sex offender treatment

She is to have no contact with the 20 y/o african american male and will pay him $1000 for the damages done to his car.

Lestina was also sentenced to 313 days of time already served in jail and next year she will wear a GPS monitoring device.

The young man sent a letter asking the judge NOT to send her to prison since she did not have a prior criminal record, a key factor for the leniency

The judge didn't believe she was a "threat" to society and given the victim doesn't want her to go to prison, he deemed it a lenient sentence.

The 19 y/o male victim spoke of the horrifying incident that happened last January when Lestina pulled a knife on him and forced him to let her give him ORAL and VAGINAL sex with her. It happened on the driveway of of Lestina's step-sister

The dispute was over a SEX TAPE where the male said he was going to put out a sex tape of them on social media and she wanted to make one with him so she would have one to keep from putting his out there. She eventually deleted that sex tape

The victim also said she took his phone and keys and poked his arms with th eknife so that he couldn't call for help. She then pulled out her phone where she told him to perform oral sex on her and then she performed it on him as well..

After it ended, she gave his keys back and he drove off to a gas station to call the police to report the rape.

Do you think this sentence was fair?

Except imagine a female victim saying this, and every psychologist on the planet would chime in about the trauma of sexual assault and how it's easy to feel sorry for your abuser, but it can't be used for leniency in the legal system.

If the victim argues for leniency, the person should get leniency. Granted, there's an additional factor of the person still being a menace to society but... maybe the other stuff will have straightened her out. She was already in jail for close to a year.

there will be no mercy.

If im the the victim I should be able to decide if theres leniency for my abuser

She should be judged as harshly as he would be if he sexually assaulted her.
