I know this is a gimmick account but that's the "backwards" cross which is more related to Buddhism than Nazis.

Not fair that a symbol can be good for thousands of years and then Nazis use it for ten years and it's ruined Technically, the meaning is ambiguous. The Hindu, the Celtic, and the Germanic peoples all used some sort of similar 'sun wheel', and in the case of the latter two, the meaning is technically unknown to us. We assume that the Nazis based theirs on the Germanic version, but there is really no telling. UrCa1988 posted... Also, forgot to mention, the whole 'the swastika backwards is a Buddhist symbol' is not accurate. Besides the fact that it was Hindu first, there are clockwise and counter-clockwise examples dating back long before the Nazis. ... Copied to Clipboard!
