I can access most other sites, but gamefaqs times out. This is weird.

Is the net neutrality apocalypse already starting? >_>

Maybe try clearing your DNS cache. If Giant Bomb also won't load I wouldn't be shocked if some DNS change happened and your PC or router is holding on to the old info.

Try clearing DNS cache and if that doesn't work manually change your primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4 which is Google's DNS servers.

Huh, when my phone connects to my home router, it does the same stuff (won't load gamefaqs, reddit, giantbomb, etc.) but when I got on data and turn off wifi, everything works fine >_>

To give you a quick version a DNS (Domain Name System) server is what translates URL's into IP addresses to actually connect you to shit. It's just a quick milliseconds long process (or it's supposed to be) that's there with everything you do online. You generally have two DNS servers listed, a primary and a secondary just as redundancy because they're still servers and like all servers, 100% uptime is impossible.
If a specific website just won't work for you but everything else will, you know you're online, it's not a blocked domain, that website isn't down or anything, etc. Then it's almost always a DNS issue.
Your ISP probably used their own DNS servers as defaults which usually are fine but I usually prefer to just switch to something like 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 which are both Google run DNS servers that are publicly available.
I just wanted to give you a brief explanation of what exactly it is and what you'd be changing just so you're not freaked out you're going to break something or anything because it's nothing major you're changing and you can revert back to defaults at any time.

You'd probably be better off Googling exactly how to do it because I currently don't have a PC after my last one was damaged in a storm and I don't remember all the exact steps off the top of my head but it should be something like go to your network settings in control panel or go by clicking your network icon on the taskbar -> find your network adapter -> right click and go to properties -> then select IvP4 and properties again and it should be obvious from there. Like unchecking something along the lines of "obtain automatically" or "use default" and manually typing in 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4 and you're done. That's assuming you want to change it, which is what I'd recommend doing since Google's is far more reliable than the defaults in my experience and there's also OpenDNS as well which is another big alternative if you've got an anti Google thing or something lol. You'd have to look up the numbers for that one though because I don't remember off the top of my head.

If you'd rather just clear the cache first instead of changing any settings just hit Windows key + R and copy/paste in ipconfig /flushdns exactly like that with the space, and hit enter/okay and it's done.

The only reason I'd suggest changing the DNS outright instead, even if clearing it is all you need to do right now, is because you never really hear about these issues with Google or OpenDNS and if it's their end it's fixed almost immediately. Some of the automatic ISP ones can be slower to detect and fix issues and in some cases can be so bad they just don't fix certain things or in worse case their servers just suck so bad they're actually causing slowdown with your connection because it's taking more than just milliseconds like it's supposed to.

It would be funny if NBC, ABC, CBS, etc. all ended up having their own individual game sites. I mean, small consolation for losing neutrality, but still.

NBC presents GameQuestions.com. It's the one with a red and silver color scheme -- so unlike that *other* game website which answers frequently asked questions.
