Depending on where it was from, you may just be able to easily say that you never got it and they will refund you or send out another one. Amazon is really good about this.

three years ago my neighbors took a package from my porch and brought it back opened. talking about "sorry, I thought I saw my name on it." wtf? MY name was literally on the package l. it was a box with 300 .45 rounds in it. they haven't pulled this stunt since. --- Never let those intent on misunderstanding you be the narrator to YOUR story!
