If someone loves a game so much they'd consider it the best then good for them. Popularity=/=Quality Depends on how you look at it. If you look at games as a product for consumers to purchase, then the quality of the game I'd directly related go how well it sells. If a game sells poorly, it's a bad product because it doesn't appeal to the consumer base enough. Doesn't really matter how high the artistic or gameplay qualities are if it sells poorly. For fans, sells doesn't amount to much more than growing your epeen by association, especially if the game is an exclusive to your favorite console.
