Men manspreading









While it's very sexy (what gay man and straight woman doesn't like the view?) I think it's a jerk move. The man is taking up too much space :O

What does CE think?

If there is nobody else around and it is slow, passenger wise, who cares? It's only a jerk move if the transit is busy and packed.

This. Don't care if someone, man or woman, spreads out themselves or shopping if no one is about. If is packed, then they are just being a dick and I've seen men and women doing it.

If the train is full, taking up an extra seat is a dick move regardless of whether you are spreading yourself out or putting your purse on the neighboring seat.

I have one friend who justifies his manspreading by claiming that it hurts his nuts if his legs are closed.

I suspect he's lying :O

Depends. If everyone is already seated and no one is next to you feel free to do it. When people board though close your legs so someone can sit. If they don't go back to doing it

Its gross. I used to take public transportation all the time and always had some dudes leg pressed up against me. But magically, if it was 2 dudes sitting next to each other, they knew not to rub each other.

The bags taking up a seat is equally annoying but I always made them put it on their lap so I can sit.

Ehh. Firstly Im straight and dont find that view appealing in any way.

But anyway. A few things.

If its an empty bus or whatever its fine who cares as long as youre not in tiny work out shorts and showing too much
If its full or filling up, its rude. Same for purses. Ill move mine when the bus starts getting full (when Im at Disneyland or whatever I dont take bus around town.

But whatever guys say you dont need that much room. Like half that angle is fine for your balls.

That last guy has ridiculously muscular thighs so I'm not surprised he's sitting like that. But no manspreading is not an issue. I sit with my legs slightly apart because it's much more comfortable (and natural) than trying to force them together. If the train/bus/whatever is crowded then I'll scoot in, and I never give anyone shit if they ask me to move a little.

I mean it's wrong. But if there is space I don't care. If it's crowded, then we need to make room.

And I can't with this view. I'm a chaste little country queen living out here in Oklahoma, and I would not be able to stop staring. I'm imagining a kaleidoscope of men, evidently not wearing underwear, all spread eagle on the train. A rotating buffet of bulges to oogle. Oh what would my mother say? I don't know how some of us handle it. Clearly they've been desensitized.

No, that's fine. They clearly don't mind people staring at their crotch. That's why they're riding the train in gym shorts and nothing else in the first place.
