1st Pic - Nov 13, 2016
2nd Pic - May 18, 2017
3rd Pic - Yesterday

I've posted the first two pics on here on a few different occasions, the 3rd pic is new.

So, not as big a change as seen from pic 1 to pic 2 but that's largely because I actually stopped working out for about 4 months for various reasons and just got back into it somewhat recently. I'm wishing that I wouldn't have taken a break for that long but eh, can't change that now. Just going to continue to be on this grind and see how far I can take it.

Well ya know, I don't really have a specific "regimen" or workout program that I follow so to speak. I try to keep it simple and pretty much do push/pull/leg/all around/cardio split.

On the "all around" day I do push/pull and leg exercises as well as things like deadlifts and other what I would consider "unorthodox" type of exercises like shoulder shrugs.

On a cardio day, I typically keep it short but I get on the treadmill and do some hardcore HIIT. I waste no time either seeing as I hate cardio. I'll also do burpees, dumbbell deadlifts, running in place, jump rope, climbers, etc and I'll typically do them immediately one after the other.

An advanced lifter could probably come in here and tear the above to shreds but eh.

Good job.

But you need to quit skipping leg day. You're holding yourself back, your body releases less testosterone if you skip legs. So you're doing yourself a disservice

That's actually a good question. If you're asking for like one rep max and what not, I honestly couldn't tell you. I never got into lifting with the mindset of trying to see how heavy I could lift and so knowing my maximum stats has never really been a priority for me. For me it's always been mostly about looking good, feeling good, and being healthy. I just try to do a bit more than I did the previous time, whether that be in reps or weight. But for reference, for example I worked out on the bench at 205 and could do 4-7 reps

That's probably a better way to be. Honestly, I just get upset with myself when I can't increase the weight on the bar every few workouts.

Yeah I'll admit that I don't have the best legs and that fine, but trust me I'm not skipping. I'm fully aware of the benefits of squatting. I'd much rather squat than do cardio. I've actually started incorporating two leg days a week to try and get them up to speed a bit more. I had a leg day on Monday and earlier today for example. I'm getting there

Calf size is extremely dependent on genetics, moreso than other body parts because the slow-twitch fibers are more resistant to loads applied on them. He can still get bigger calves but they won't progress as much as the rest of the body. It definitely doesn't mean he skipped leg day.

Squatting 500 here and I have skinny calves: rrXOkpU

I've always kind of figured this because it feels like no matter what I do with my calves, there is never any truly notable improvement. I didn't want to blame it on genetics though but now you've given me the green light to do so lol.

I used to hit them really hard and painfully in the gym, but I find that when I go jogging just doing it on my tip-toes gets the same or better results while being more time efficient. Especially uphill.

It's better for your knees, too.

What is yo diet tho

Accidentally skipped this too.

I try to keep things simple and eat a lot of the same things so that I know that what I'm putting in my mouth is healthy. I eat healthy stuff conservatively 85% of the time but it's actually probably closer to 90 to 95% of the time. Here is a bit of what I eat

Grilled fish (tilapia for example)
Chicken
Beef
Pork chops
Eggs
Oatmeal (I buy maple brown sugar which is probably not the best but I simply can't eat oatmeal otherwise. I also put honey in it)
Breakfast sausage (sometimes, honestly not sure how good or bad it is for you and I'm too lazy to check)
Pretty much anything in the produce section of the grocery store
Tuna
Brown rice
Frozen vegetables
Protein bars
Greek Yogurt
Water
Nuts (walnuts, almonds)

And probably a few other things that are escaping me at the moment.. I also still eat a fair amount of candy tbh but I guess I out train it. There are some things that I almost NEVER eat such as

Fried food
Soda
Juice
Coffee
Alcohol
Bread
Other common snacks like cookies, chips, ice cream, etc.
Fast food

I still eat the above things but in relatively limited quantities.

Whenever I'm stair climbing, I do try to focus on doing it on my tip-toes sometimes and that def seems to help. I'll try to focus on it even more.
