I believe this differed from state to state, but when I studied real estate in Louisiana, there was a portion (I think 50%) that you are legally required to divide among your children.

Affirmative action limits the number of Asian and Caucasian American spots in the job market and places glass ceilings on them for promotions and stuff. It also makes them score much higher on tests. It's also racist because it says that some races need a leg up when others are "overachievers."
