I'm certainly grateful for the internet, but I think society had a little more advancing to do before the average household gained access to the world wide web.

In the 90s, if you were bothered because a white woman was in an interracial relationship or because a movie role went to a black actor instead of a white one, you kept it to yourself or confided in friends who wouldn't judge you for your casual racism. Today, people go online and anonymously complain about how the liberal agenda is taking away their women or their movie characters.

I just feel like we needed a little more advancement before everyone had an outlet to anonymously tell the world how they really feel.
