Yes No View Results A Texas Substitute Teacher in a Texas Elementary school called the POLICE on a 6 y/o Muslim Boy with DOWN SYNDROME because she thought he was a TERRORIST!! Mohammad Suleiman's father, Maher, said discrimination was at play after the teacher claimed the boy kept repeating "Allah" and "Boom". He said "Mohammad was born with Down Syndrome chromosome 21" and said his son has intellectual difficulties and can't speak, something the school claimed he could do. But he said "It's not true, he doesn't speak at all. This is so stupid, it's discrimination. Actually, it's not implied discrimination, it's actual discrimination" He's disgusted by the allegations against his son being a terrorist and that the sub at CJ Harris Elementary School made. The female teacher called 5-0 and Child Protective Services to launch an investigation into the family!! Maher said "The last 3-4 weeks have been the hardest of my life. My wife and kids were crying a few days ago and i told them everything is fine" The Pearland Police Dept did an investigation but didn't find any evidence of "terrorism" and their involvement was not needed.. It's strict definition is intolerance for different opinions, though those opinions could be regarding race, sex, religion, etc. On further thought, it was really just the one teacher (and a substitute at that), all you you can really infer about the school is it's a place where a bigoted teacher has worked. --- No locked doors, no windows barred.
