AlisLandale 12/04/17 9:09:04 AM #8:	To be fair, Nintendo spent like, ten years shoehorning in weird mechanics nobody asked for and deliberately moving away from the atmosphere that most people liked in the first place. >_> Windwaker would have been better recieved initially if it wasnt a cartoon. They also made a huge ocean that was slow and boring to explore. Also the dungeons all sucked for some reason. TP would be a strict upgrade to OoT if they redesigned it without the wolf and removed the tears of light/made twilight zone less ugly. But during the GC era Nintendo had a huge boner for the "dual worlds" mechanic. SS was somehow goofier looking than WW and padded the main quest with minigames that would have been piece-of-heart quests in older games. Like they all had their moments but it wasnt till BotW when Nintendo decided "hey, lets try not putting in boring, drawn out, and unfun mechanics and just make the whole thing classic Zelda gameplay". Though being impartial, MM (my favorite) was a much shorter version of OoT with an overbearing time mechanic. If youre not into the world building of Termina or the character-based stories its a letdown.
