I was at an airport last month waiting for my gate to open. There was a couple sitting for a different gate but around the same area and they had three kids. For whatever reason one of the kid just started screaming bloody mary and acted like someone put him in a figure four leg lock and would not let him go. The kid's scream was resounding in the airport. Everyone looked over to see what the problem was. From what I can see, the mother was unable to tame her child and started having a breakdown herself because of it. She literally fell down and started sobbing at the fact that her kid would not shut the fuck up. The father then started consoling the mother over it while the kid was still screaming at the fucking top of his lungs. The father resulted in covering the kid's mouth and took him to the restroom.

I don't know if that was bad parenting or maybe the kid had a mental illness but my god that was a horrible experience and I would never ever want to be in that situation.

Some kids/people are just rotten regardless of how much discipline/investment society puts in to them. Bad people do exist TC!

Speaking as a parent of a young child, it's not like you can assume direct control of the mufuckers. There certainly are right and wrong approaches, but when someone talks about "taming" or "controlling" them it's pretty obvious they haven't spent much time with children.

I care more about how the parents respond to the bad behavior. If they give in to the kid's tantrum, buy them the toy/candy, etc. then I'll assume they're shit parents that are fueling the behavior. If they don't don't give into the tantrum and smack the shit out of the kid, then I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume them they're more likely decent parents.

What eston said. Children arent animals, you dont control or tame them, you raise them. And raising children is not so simple that it can be explained in a single GameFAQs post. There are all kinds of different children, each with their own unique personalities, behaviours and problems.

So as a bystander you're implying I should just mind my own business and reserve no judgement?

Yes, that is exactly what you should do unless they are literally abusing them in front of you

No thanks. I'll mean mug the fuck out of them if I feel they are not doing a good job. Even give the kid the death look if I have to.

I can agree with this, minus smacking the shit out of them. The way I see it, how you react to them is what they will think is the correct way to react. When they're toddlers, they get most of their behavioral cues from their parents. So if you blow up at them for every little thing, years later you're likely to end up with a kid who has anger management issues.
