He was bringing in his car for service. I found out he worked at an aerospace and defense contractor down the road. He writes C and C++ code for one of their latest projects, a commercial in-space servicing system for other satellites. I told him about my programming hobby and we shot the shit.

Said that's what he had to do since most dealerships don't stock inventory with manual transmissions outside of sports cars. eston posted... They still use C and C++? In this case they do.
