By allowing this type of softcore content, Twitch is showing what kind of site it wants to be. Good or bad I don't care, but people who are heavily invested in the streaming community will of course care more. Blaming the softcore streamers for this is completely unfair, though, IMO. They're just following the rules as they are implemented. Rant about Twitch and not about "stupid sluts who steal your viewers" and maybe I would have more sympathy with the guy getting a five day ban. To be fair, if you feel like your defense is "sluts who steal viewers" you aren't that interesting to watch to begin with. There are enough male streamers who pull between 10-40k viewers on a daily basis. If you are lacking viewers, than the problem isn't minimally dressed women. I agree, but I also agree that the guy is scratching on an actual issue: Twitch become a softcore porn streaming site. That's an issue worth bringing up, regardless of how good or bad of a streamer you are. But again, criticizing/flaming/harassing the boob streamers misses the mark - it's Twitch that should be the focus of criticism. She barely has followers and has been doing it a while and its because she only shows her face and doesn't show boobs, isn't insanely hot and doesn't twerk on cam for subs but the SMT fans appreciate her stuff but its annoying when randoms just show up in the chat asking to see boobs because every other girl streamer they go on eggs this type of comments on and there is a disconnect between game fans and just horny streamer weirdos. That said, it's not a look about the industries as a whole since the situation is unique to Twitch -- there aren't many pornos that involve video gaming (yes I know there are some, but it's safe to say that a majority are not). Point being that the two industries, when separated, are vastly in favor of video games.
